Currently Reading
I am currently reading The Nanny by Leïla Slimani. I am just 10% done as of right now. I have picked this book up for my reading challenge of 2021 where I read a book from a country whose name’s first letter is the same as that of the month. Leïla Slimani is a Moroccan author and The Nanny is my pick for the month of March. It is a Crime Fiction set in France.
Recently Finished
I recently finished reading 10 Minutes 38 Seconds In This Strange World by Elif Shafak and Karolina Dalca, Dark Eyes by M.R. Noble.
I found Shafak’s book quite interesting (considering I do not like to read her) and there were so many things and issues in the books that one can and ponder. As it was a book club read, I am quite looking forward to the conversation with my book buds.
Noble’s book was interesting in its own way as well. It is a Vampire story with a twist. Throw in suspense, heartbreak, drama, mafia, bloodlust, and other paranormal creatures and it a mixed plate that I gobbled up. This one is for a blog tour I have participated in.
Next I Will Read
As of right now, I am not really sure what I will read next time so I have to leave this one blank this time.
