Hey everyone! I was tagged by Shreeya from Absorbed in Books to do this tag, so let’s get into it! This feels more like the interview question “tell me something about yourself.” A question that I particularly dislike but giving this a go anyway.

So, here goes!
1. Why did you start blogging and why have you kept blogging?
Starting a blog was a whim, really. During my university days, one day as I sat waiting for my group mate to finish his work so that we can consolidate the project, I typed out a story that I had written in my school days. I wanted the world to read my work so I made a blog and the rest is history.
In case, you’re wondering, this is the post I published. My first ever post; Excellence at Work.
This was not the blog I started blogging with. It was Lair of a Wordsmith. The basic reason for that blog to exist was for me to share my stories with the world. The idea of people reading my stories is what kept me blogging.
With the passage of time, I added a lot of other stuff on the blog and then to keep all things bookish separate, I created another blog. This one. Hina Loves To Read.
Even today, what keeps me going, as far as blogging, it is the fact that I love knowing that people out there are reading my words.
2. What is your favourite type of blog post to write?
Stories. I love writing stories.
3. What are your top 3 favourite blog posts?
Story | A Birthday Made Special
Story | The Blue Door
Review | Pride and Prejudice
4. What are some of your favourite things to do to relax?
- Listening to Music
- Sketching and Painting
- Writing Stories
- Sleeping (I don’t get to do this enough)
5. What are 3 of your favourite things?
This is a very subjective question and totally depends on what kind of a mood I am in and still changes with time. For right now I’d say;
- Dreaming
- Faalsas (I don’t know what they are called in English so I am putting a picture here. If you know, please tell me as well)
- Watches
6. What are your proudest blogging moments?
The first one was when my blog was read internationally.
7. What are your hobbies outside of blogging?
Some of them are;
- Painting
- Collecting watches
- Writing stories
- Sleeping (I don’t get to do that enough)
8. Describe your personality in three words.
Focused. Ambitious. Dreamer.
9. What are your top 3 pet peeves?
- People using the word literally when something is meant otherwise
- Grammatical errors
- Anyone waking me up when I am sleeping
10. What’s something your followers don’t know about you?
They know whatever I have wished to make public about myself.
