12 Months and a 12 Letter Name

One fine day as I sat pondering about the books that I will read in the coming year, I thought I should come up with a challenge for myself and see if I can live up to it.

A challenge that would mean that I read at least one book in a month because in 2019 there have been a couple of months where I read nothing at all.

I thought and I thought and then I thought some more and Light Bulb on SoftBank 2014!

I decided to form my name with the first letter of the titles of the books I read in 2020.

The catch?

Only one letter can be marked done in any one month and it has to follow the letters in the name.

Example:

For H I N A, I can not mark A done if I read a book whose name starts an A if I had not marked H, I, and N marked done.

I am excited!

So this is the spelling I use.

H I N A   T A B A S S U M

Any recommendations for books for me to complete the challenge?

I love this idea. I may have to “borrow” it. One of my favorite books is a metaphysical fiction called The Sinking of Bethany Ann Crane by K. Kris Loomis. I read & reviewed it. When it wouldn’t get out of my head, I read it a second time. Nope, I still think about the book, storyline, and characters all the time. As much as I read, it takes a special book to stick with me like that. If you fit it into your name game, let me know what you think of it.

Nice challenge? I know I’d be in trouble if I wanted to read a book for all the letter in my name, especially if it’s my full name 😂 For the I, I’d recommend I, Cosmo by Carlie Sorosiak. It’s a cute children’s book about a dog and his human. Lovely story and one of my top reads this year.
