Christmas in Little Penhaven CoverSynopsis

Have yourself a little Cornish Christmas …

Wannabe author Jane Solomon is expecting an uneventful Christmas in her Cornish village of Little Penhaven.
But then super fit American gym owner Hal Muir comes to town, and suddenly the holiday season looks set to be far more interesting. Hal is keen on embracing every British tradition on offer, from mince pies to Christmas pub quizzes – and perhaps some festive romance too …

As I have mentioned many times before, I love reading Christmas themed books and I also love reading Romance so you know why this book held a charm for me.

As if that was not enough it had a writer for heroine. The synopsis calls her a wannabe writer and I take exception to that.

The characters are believable and the story flows smoothly.

The beauty of the story is two very different people identifying in each other a mate for themselves and helping the other set their life straight.

I particularly liked the fact that Jane did not resent her family for having to let go of her dreams for them and yet still worked on to live her dreams.

Overall, the story gives a very cosy, very Christmassy feel.

If, like me, you like reading holiday romances, this one is for you.
