How I Came About This Book?

One day, my phone dinged and there sat an email from Mark who was writing on behalf of Mawson Bear. Asking me if I’d be interested in Mawson’s Book. He mentioned that it is a picture book but for grown ups!

That last sentence intrigued me and I wanted to read the book!

History is the most difficult of genres to read. It is confusing! If you want a little more confusion, go ahead and read Religious History! I was curious of how everything panned out. Rather than my curiosity being satisfied, reading about the events have left me with more than ever questions! To give myself a little respite, I picked this picture book. It's a Bright World to Feel Lost In by @mawsonbear It is a picture book for grown-ups and Mawson is a big hearted, soul searching teddy bear. In this book, he ponders the loss of love. Making his way through the feeling of being left behind. Isn't that what all us need time and again? To be honest, I can't turn to Self-Help books. They have never helped me! That's all for now. The Surprise!

In the work related stress and deadlines, I completely forgot about this book (or any other book for that matter) and then bam! There was book mail!

I looked at the name of the sender and it all came back to me. It filled me with joy!

 

 

The Wait!

Once I had the book in my hands, I had to wait. During those days, deadlines had to be met and I could do nothing but give those projects and tasks my all. In the wheel of time, the book (again) got forgotten.

 

Rescue ❤️

Recently, I had been binge reading history (religious history) and the varying aspects of me left me confused. It was getting to be too much! I needed a respite and Mawson came to the rescue.

It was finally time for It’s A Bright World To Feel Lost In!

 

Review

I want to write passages and passages but honestly the only thing that comes to mind is, the book is awesome! I will still articulate a few points of what Mawson is trying to teach us in his book.

• There should always be adventure in our lives, lest we let the life seep out of
• Time should always be made for good old fun. It is important to do what brings happiness
• If they are yours, they will come back. It is alright even if they do not
• You matter!
• There is a difference of not being in your presence and being absent

 

Some bits? They get you right in the feels. A 4 starer for me.
