Review
I first learned about this series in November 2016 and the synopsis of the first book, A Study in Scarlet Women (you can read my review here), had me intrigued. The book went on my TBR ASAP.
In early 2017, I got around to reading that book and waited anxiously for the second one that was to come out in October 2017.
As soon as the book was issued, I got my hands on a copy and tucked in. Loved A Conspiracy in Belgravia (you can read my review here).
Now it is time for the third book, The Hollow of Fear. It released this very month but I had to wait for a few days to get my hands on a copy and then few to actually get the time to read it.
However, as soon as I got my teeth into the story, there was no stopping me. I wanted to know everything that was to happen. I wanted to experience all that the characters were experiencing.
Charlotte Holmes was her adorable, genius self I the story with all her quirks that endear her more to me. Livia Holmes showing the world that there are many different kinds of strength and none should be taken lightly.Lord Ingram makes you believe that there are men out there in the world who will stand by you no matter what.
Talking about the story, it is all about how appearances could be deceiving. It showed that ‘Trust’ is something very important but not everyone ought to be trusted. A few things will kick you out of the blue leaving your jaw hanging (I am trying my level best not to put in any spoilers).
In a nutshell, the mystery kept me engrossed all he way to the revelation and I wanted to read more and more of these characters.
Woah! Seems like a treasure. And your review is Bravo!
